School decorating, planned for the holidays.
Education work runs to the calendar. We plan it around summer and half-term windows so pupils come back to finished classrooms.

How do you plan a school holiday programme?
Work backwards from the date the school needs the rooms. The scope must allow for access, preparation, drying, furniture moves and inspection within the available holiday window.
Agree before the holiday
- Agree the scope before fixing the programme
- Confirm safeguarding and site-access requirements
- Reserve time for inspection and handback
Planned around how your buildings are used.
- 01
Holiday windows
Scopes sized to the summer break and half-terms, with the programme fixed well in advance.
- 02
Safeguarding
We follow the school's safeguarding and site-access procedures.
- 03
Durable finishes
Hard-wearing, cleanable coatings for corridors, classrooms and halls.
- 04
Clean handover
Rooms handed back ready to teach in, with furniture returned and snags closed.
Trust-wide programmes.
For multi-academy trusts and education estates, we plan redecoration across every school, spreading the work over the holiday calendar and keeping one specification and one progress report across the trust.
Questions we are asked
Can the work be done in the summer holidays?
That is the main window for most schools. We fix the programme early so the scope fits the time available.
Do you work during term time?
Only where the school wants it — for example in areas that can be closed off safely — and always under the school's site procedures.
Tell us about your sites.
How many sites, where they are, and when the work needs to happen. We will come back to you to arrange a site visit or a programme discussion.
