Care homes, decorated around residents.
Redecorating a care home means working in someone's home. We agree phasing, access and room handback with the home manager, taking account of residents’ routines and the home’s procedures.

What needs agreeing before care-home decorating?
The home’s routines and procedures shape the work. Room moves, visitor routes, product controls and reopening conditions need agreement with the home manager before a phase begins.
Agree before a phase starts
- Areas that can be separated and safe routes retained
- Coating, ventilation and drying requirements
- Required operative checks confirmed before mobilisation
Planned around how your buildings are used.
- 01
Residents first
Work is phased by wing, corridor or room, with residents moved only by agreement with the home and never without notice.
- 02
Coatings suited to occupied settings
Coatings, application controls, ventilation and drying times agreed for the setting. Low odour alone is not a safety assessment.
- 03
Infection prevention
We follow the home's own infection-prevention procedures, and keep work areas clean and contained.
- 04
A calm, respectful presence
Named, briefed operatives who understand they are working in a home.
One plan across the group.
For care groups, we plan redecoration across every home: surveying each one, agreeing a group finish standard, and scheduling homes around admissions, inspections and seasonal pressures. Each home manager has a named contact; the group gets a single view of progress.
Questions we are asked
Can you decorate bedrooms while the home is full?
Yes, room by room, in agreement with the home. We schedule around each resident's routine and hand rooms back clean and ventilated.
Do you work to our infection-control procedures?
Yes. We follow the home's procedures and brief our team on them before work starts.
Tell us about your sites.
How many sites, where they are, and when the work needs to happen. We will come back to you to arrange a site visit or a programme discussion.
